JOEL REISER, Team Owner

Still cutting his teeth in racing, Reiser is improving with each outing. Last year, in his first season as a professional, the 39-year-old piloted a Porsche 911 GT1-96 to four top-10 finishes, including a pair of 5th-place finishes, in the Canada GT Challenge Cup. He finished and earned prize money in every race entered. He’s been driving in Porsche Club driver’s ed events and private racing events for some eight years and been instructing for five years.

TONY CALLAS, Crew Chief/ Team Manager

To say Callas has been around racing for a while would be an understatement. Quoting his partner in Reiser Callas Rennsport, Joel Reiser -- “I don’t know exactly how many years he’s been in racing, but I know he’s been around it since he was a kid.” What’s definitely clear is Callas’s propensity for being involved with a contender. Over the last two years, he’s been linked to some high profile Porsche race teams including Rohr Motorsport, Roock Racing and Champion. Callas was a member of the teams which won the GT1 class at Daytona in 1997 and 1998 (Rohr Motorsport) and last year’s Petit Le Mans GT1 crown (Champion). Last season, he also helped the Roock Racing team to second- and fourth-place finishes in the FIA GT race at Laguna Seca. In 1997, he was lead engineer for the Rohr Motorsport team when it won the GT1 team title and Driver's Championship in the Sports Car’s GT series.

Callas owns and operates Callas Rennsport, a Porsche and BMW service and performance shop in Torrance, California. Check the links section of this site to learn more.
